SMWILM The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20 nm. Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20 nm. * Until 1230 AM EDT. * At 1203 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Murrells Inlet Sea Buoy, moving southeast at 40 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Ten Mile Reef, Murrells Inlet Sea Buoy, Belky Bear, North Inlet Reef, Paradise Reef, Georgetown Reef, Pawleys Island, Litchfield Beach, and Garden City.

The areas affected include. Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20 nm. Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20 nm. Waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC from 20 to 40 nm. Waters from Murrells Inlet NC to South Santee River SC from 20 to 40 nm. At 1130 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Little River Reef to 32 nm west of DeBordieu Colony, moving southeast at 35 knots. Locations impacted include. Ten Mile Reef, Little River Sea Buoy, Gary Ennis Reef, Winyah Bay Sea Buoy, Sherman Wreck, Bill Perry Junior Reef, Murrells Inlet Sea Buoy, Georgetown Nearshore Wreck, Little River Offshore Reef, Myrtle Beach Rock, Atlantic Ledge, Inshore Hole, Paradise Reef, Georgetown Reef, Jungle, Little River Reef, East Bank Buoy, Belky Bear, Cherry Grove Inlet, and Long Bay Terrace.
