SMWILM The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20 nm. Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20 nm. * Until 530 PM EDT. * At 426 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Murrells Inlet Sea Buoy, moving northeast at 15 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Ten Mile Reef, Murrells Inlet Sea Buoy, Myrtle Beach Rock, Belky Bear, Springmaid Pier, North Inlet Reef, Paradise Reef, Litchfield Beach, Surfside Beach, and Pawleys Island.

At 507 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles northeast of Ammon, or 11 miles southwest of Clinton, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Clinton, Roseboro, Garland, Salemburg, Autryville, and Bushy Lake Natural Area.

Movement was northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Fayetteville, Sanford, Lillington, Fort Liberty, Dunn, Angier, Benson, Godwin, Pope AFB, and Spring Lake.

At 412 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Pawleys Island, moving northeast at 20 knots.
