Portions of North Carolina, including the following counties, Caswell, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin and Virginia, including the following counties, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, Carroll, Charlotte, Floyd, Franklin, Halifax, Henry, Patrick and Pittsylvania. * WHEN. From 8 PM EDT this evening through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Waves of showers and thunderstorms are expected to overspread the northern Piedmont of North Carolina late this afternoon through tonight.
