* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of central North Carolina, including the following county, Person. * WHEN. Until 645 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 439 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Until 800 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 400 AM EDT, Although the heavy rain has ended, the 3 to 5 inches of rainfall overnight will result in continued rises along streams and creeks. Specifically, areas around Middle Creek will be prone to flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
