FFWABQ The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for. Northeastern San Juan County in northwestern New Mexico. * Until 230 AM MDT. * At 1229 AM MDT, Trained weather spotters reported flash flooding from earlier thunderstorms. While those stronger thunderstorms have moved out of the area, additional light to moderate rain from new storms is possible through 2 AM MDT. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have already fallen, and flash flooding is expected to continue into the early morning hours. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Trained spotters reported. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Farmington, Bloomfield, Aztec, Flora Vista and NAPI Headquarters. This includes the following highways. Highway 550 between Mile Markers 138 and 161. Highway 64 between Mile Markers 49 and 74.
