At 1237 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Durango, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Durango, Tacoma, Falfa, Hermosa, and Trimble. This includes the following highways. U.S. Highway 550 in Colorado between mile markers 12 and 37. U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 81 and 96. Colorado 172 between mile markers 18 and 24.
