Hill top observations from across the region have indicated that wind gusts have been near 40 mph and valleys are seeing winds of 20 to 30 mph. These winds are expected to continue for a few more hours. Unhealthy trees may fall onto roads and power lines causing sporadic power outages as well as blocked road ways.
