Coastal and outer waters from Sandy Hook to Little Egg Inlet NJ. * Until 1230 AM EDT. * At 1026 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 10 nm west of Pine Beach to 11 nm west of Forked River to 14 nm northwest of Little Egg Inlet, moving east at 45 knots. HAZARD. Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Ocean Gate, Sea Girt Reef, Little Egg Reef, Ship Bottom, Barnegat Light Reef, Garden State South Reef, Axel Carlson Reef, Silverton, Harvey Cedars, Forked River, Lavallette, Beach Haven, Barnegat Light, North Beach Haven, Garden State North Reef, Shark River Reef, Point Pleasant Beach, Little Egg Inlet, Seaside Park, and Manasquan Inlet.

At 1104 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Shark River Reef to 11 nm northeast of Barnegat Light Reef to near Ship Bottom, moving east at 45 knots. This line of storms has a history of producing near 40 kt wind gusts along the New Jersey shore. HAZARD. Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail. SOURCE. Buoy. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include. HAZARD. Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail. SOURCE. Buoy. At 1124 PM EDT, Kite Island gusted to 48 MPH. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include. Barnegat Light, Forked River, Barnegat Light Reef, Seaside Park, and Harvey Cedars.
