Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following areas, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and Missouri, including the following areas, Barry, Barton, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Dent, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Howell, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, Maries, McDonald, Miller, Morgan, Newton, Oregon, Ozark, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, Shannon, St. Clair, Stone, Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster and Wright. * WHEN. From this evening through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Repeated rounds of thunderstorms are possible Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches with localized amounts of 5-7 inches are possible. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Christian and Greene. * WHEN. Until 1100 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 509 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings. Wilson Creek at Farm Road 146, Wilson's Creek at Farm Road 150 and Wilson Creek at Farm Road 156. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
