Illinois River at Hardin. * WHEN. From this evening to early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 25.0 feet, Flood Stage. Lowland flooding of unprotected agricultural land begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 25.6 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 25.6 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.8 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

At 25.5 feet, State Route P east of Elsberry begins flooding just east of the levee. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 12:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 24.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.3 feet Thursday morning. It will then rise to 27.3 feet Thursday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
