Portions of central, east central, and southeast Missouri, including the following areas, in central Missouri, Cole MO, Moniteau MO and Osage MO. In east central Missouri, Crawford MO, Franklin MO, Gasconade MO and Washington MO. In southeast Missouri, Iron MO, Madison MO, Reynolds MO and Saint Francois MO. * WHEN. From this evening through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Thunderstorms are expected to train repeatedly over the same locations tonight and Sunday morning, leading to localized rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois. Missouri. Mississippi River at Winfield. Mississippi River at Hannibal. Mississippi River at Saverton. Mississippi River at Clarksville. Mississippi River at Louisiana. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Winfield. * WHEN. Until Thursday, June 13. * IMPACTS. At 27.5 feet, At this stage, Lock and Dam 25 will stockpile 200 tons of sand, 12,000 sandbags, and 10,000 square feet of polyethylene plastic as a precaution. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 27.6 feet and falling. - Recent Activity. The river rose above flood stage on May 29 and crested near 27.7 feet on June 6. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon. Additional rises are possible the following week. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
