Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Bond IL, Calhoun IL, Clinton IL, Fayette IL, Greene IL, Jersey IL, Macoupin IL, Madison IL, Marion IL, Monroe IL, Montgomery IL, Pike IL, Randolph IL, Saint Clair IL and Washington IL and Missouri, including the following areas, Audrain MO, Boone MO, Callaway MO, Cole MO, Crawford MO, Franklin MO, Gasconade MO, Iron MO, Jefferson MO, Lincoln MO, Madison MO, Moniteau MO, Monroe MO, Montgomery MO, Osage MO, Pike MO, Ralls MO, Reynolds MO, Saint Charles MO, Saint Francois MO, Saint Louis City MO, Saint Louis MO, Sainte Genevieve MO, Warren MO and Washington MO. * WHEN. Through late tonight. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Several rounds of thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall, with between 2 and 5 inches possible. This threat will be heightened for some locations due to the heavy rainfall that fell Friday afternoon and evening.

Through early Monday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall are expected to traverse the region through tonight. Flooding will be more likely and potentially more intense in areas that receive multiple rounds of heavy rainfall, and especially in areas that have received heavy rainfall in the last few days.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Winfield. * WHEN. From late Monday night until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 28.6 feet, Water begins covering Highway C about a half mile south of Highway B in St. Charles County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 25.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.5 feet Friday morning. It will then rise to 28.5 feet Friday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
