Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Washington, Ramsey and Dakota Counties. .Recent heavy rainfall combined with the forecast of additional rain and high soil moisture will produce additional rises on area rivers. Another round of widespread heavy rain becoming likely Thursday night through Saturday. An additional 2 to 4 inches of rainfall is forecasted to fall during this time. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE). * WHEN. From Saturday evening until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1030 AM CDT Wednesday, the stage was 12.5 feet. - The river is beginning to rise. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage Saturday evening and continue rising to 17.2 feet Wednesday, June 26.
