South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County. .Recent heavy rainfall and additional rain today will lead to minor flooding along portions of the Minnesota River. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. South Fork Crow River below Mayer. * WHEN. From Thursday afternoon to early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 11.0 feet, Carver County Road 123 is closed north of Highway 7 to 42nd Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 830 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 9.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Thursday afternoon to a crest of 11.3 feet Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.5 feet on 05/26/2017.

At 705.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact the park road at Fort Snelling State Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 800 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 701.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 705.4 feet early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 702.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 705.5 feet on 03/05/1975.
