At 157 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mapleton, or 18 miles south of Mankato, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Waseca, Mapleton, New Richland, Ellendale, Minnesota Lake, Geneva, Hartland, Pemberton, Waldorf, Otisco, Lemond, and Hope. This includes the following highways. Interstate 35 between mile markers 23 and 30. U.S. Highway 14 between mile markers 156 and 169.

Until 700 AM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 226 AM CDT, Flooding is occurring along the Cannon and Straight Rivers. With MN highway 13 closed in Waterville due to flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. The Cannon River in Waterville and Morristown and along the Straight River and its tributaries from Owatonna to Faribault.
