Confidence is increasing multiple rounds are possible, which could lead to greater than 3 inches in spots through this evening. Given the recent excessive rainfall and current flooding, any additional rain could lead to flash flooding. * WHAT. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. Portions of Minnesota, including the following areas, Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Freeborn, Goodhue, Hennepin, Isanti, Le Sueur, Ramsey, Rice, Scott, Sherburne, Steele, Waseca, Washington and Wright and Wisconsin, including the following areas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pepin, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix. * WHEN. Small creeks and streams continue to run high. There is a potential of additional heavy rainfall expected this evening. The flood warning has been extended into Tuesday morning. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of south central Minnesota, including the following counties, Le Sueur, Rice, Steele and Waseca. * WHEN. Until 1000 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 906 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Owatonna, Faribault, Waseca, Waterville, Medford, Morristown, Elysian, Warsaw, Nerstrand, Lemond, Clinton Falls, Merton, Moland, Hope, Kilkenny, Deerfield, Owatonna Airport, Faribault Airport, Sakatah Lake State Park and Ruskin.
