Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties. .Another round of widespread rain and thunderstorms arrives overnight, with more thunderstorms possible Monday afternoon. 1-2" of rain is expected areawide, with locally higher amounts possible where storms train over the same location. Additional chances for heavy rain this week will lead to rising river levels. * WHAT. Major flooding is forecast. * WHERE. South Fork Crow River at Delano. * WHEN. From Tuesday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 20.0 feet, Flooding occurs on 90th St SE and approaches County Rd 17 by 20.5 ft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 830 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 14.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 19.5 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 16.5 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.3 feet on 04/08/1997.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue rising to a crest of 15.8 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History.
