Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County. Cannon River at Northfield affecting Dakota and Rice Counties. .Rivers continue to rise from recent and upcoming heavy rainfall. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Cannon River at Northfield. * WHEN. From late tonight to Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 897.5 feet, Flood waters reach Carleton College soccer fields. Babcock Park north of downtown begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 230 PM CDT Monday, the stage was 895.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 897.7 feet Wednesday. It will then fall below flood stage on Thursday. - Flood stage is 897.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 898.1 feet on 10/06/2019.

Crow River at Rockford affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties. . Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity for the following rivers in Minnesota. South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County. .Recent heavy rain combined with forecast rainfall will lead to continued increases in area rivers such that these rivers will rise above flood stage later in the week. Uncertainty in where the heaviest rainfall will fall will impact where the largest rises occur. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Minnesota River at Henderson MN19. * WHEN. From Tuesday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 736.8 feet, Highway 22 east of St Peter closed (estimated levels for spring flooding) * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1030 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 730.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 735.8 feet early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 732.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 735.4 feet on 06/28/2018.

At 20.0 feet, Flooding occurs on 90th St SE and approaches County Rd 17 by 20.5 ft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1030 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 14.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 19.5 feet early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 16.5 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.3 feet on 04/08/1997.
