Multiple rounds of additional rainfall on top of already wet soils has a chance to result in isolated to scattered flooding, with both areal flooding and flash flooding possible. The most concerning round of precipitation will arrive later in the day on Monday, with a focus around and northwest of the Twin Cities. Training thunderstorms could lead to localized higher amounts and an increased risk of flash flooding. Scattered showers and storms continue through Tuesday before diminishing by Tuesday night. * WHAT. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. Portions of Minnesota, including the following areas, Anoka, Benton, Carver, Chippewa, Chisago, Dakota, Douglas, Hennepin, Isanti, Kanabec, Kandiyohi, McLeod, Meeker, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pope, Ramsey, Renville, Scott, Sherburne, Sibley, Stearns, Stevens, Swift, Todd, Washington and Wright and Wisconsin, including the following areas, Barron, Polk and St. Croix. * WHEN. At 20.0 feet, Flooding occurs on 90th St SE and approaches County Rd 17 by 20.5 ft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 830 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 14.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 19.5 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 16.5 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.3 feet on 04/08/1997.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue rising to a crest of 15.8 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History.
