Until 700 AM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 226 AM CDT, Flooding is occurring along the Cannon and Straight Rivers. With MN highway 13 closed in Waterville due to flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. The Cannon River in Waterville and Morristown and along the Straight River and its tributaries from Owatonna to Faribault.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of south central Minnesota, including the following counties, Blue Earth, Waseca and Watonwan. * WHEN. Until 700 AM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 211 AM CDT, Local law enforcement has reported numerous roads being closed in the warned area due to flooding. This flooding is the result of between 4 and 7 inches of rain having fallen since Friday morning. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible through the rest of the day on Saturday. - Water will continue to rise through Saturday along the Blue Earth, Wantonwan, and Le Sueur rivers and and their smaller tributaries. Flood waters could begin to impact low lying areas near the Le Sueur River in St. Clair. - There is a significant amount of overland flooding as well. Some of this standing water is encroaching on roads, which is resulting in the numerous road closures reported by law enforcement.
