This includes the Tribal Lands of the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Bad River Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake and, East Lake areas. * WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. In Minnesota, Carlton and St. Louis Counties and Wisconsin, Douglas County. * WHEN. Until 415 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1255 AM CDT Wednesday, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.75 and 2.25 inches of rain have fallen. The Nemadji River near Pleasant Valley has risen by about 4 ft in the past 6 hours, and while it is starting to show signs of leveling off, high water here and downstream may persist several more hours. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Duluth, Superior, Cloquet, Hermantown, Proctor, Scanlon, Carlton, Mahtowa, Oliver, Wrenshall, Holyoke, Thomson, Brookston, Jay Cooke State Park, Pike Lake Near Duluth, Saginaw, City of Rice Lake, Fond Du Lac Band Cloquet Area, Foxboro and Pattison State Park. - Flood safety information can be found at www.weather.gov/safety/flood.
