* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. A portion of Northern Lower Michigan, including the following counties, Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego and Presque Isle. * WHEN. From 2 AM EDT Saturday through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall are expected later tonight, through the day on Saturday, and into the overnight hours Saturday night. At 238 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Merrill, or 11 miles southwest of Freeland, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD. Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Saginaw and southeastern Midland Counties, including the following locations. Nelson, Carrollton, Garfield, Arthur, Burt, Buena Vista Township, Gera, Poseyville, Indiantown, and Laporte. This includes the following highways. I-75 between mile markers 134 and 156. I-675 between mile markers 1 and 7.
