These winds are not associated with a thunderstorm and will tend to occur after the rain ends. * WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following county, Van Buren. * WHEN. Until noon EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 821 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Local rain gages were indicating around 2 inches of rain has fallen in South Haven area. Locally an additional inch of rain could fall by 10 am. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. South Haven, Hartford, Bangor, Decatur, Van Buren SP, Covert, Keeler, Lawrence, Breedsville, South Haven Area Regional Airport, Lacota and Grand Junction. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
