Through this evening. * IMPACTS. Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water and high waves can sweep people off piers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Northerly winds of 15 to 25 mph will create hazardous waves of 4 to 6 feet through this evening. The north side of north piers are particularly dangerous places to swim today. This includes North Beach at South Haven and Holland State Park.
