At 638 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Bedford, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Breezewood, Clearville, Everett, Harrisonville, Crystal Springs, Wells Tannery, Needmore, Valley-Hi, Saluvia, and Sideling Hill Rest Area.

SVRLWX The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for. Northeastern Frederick County in northwestern Virginia. South central Morgan County in the Panhandle of West Virginia. Southwestern Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia. * Until 700 PM EDT. * At 617 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest of Greenwood, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles. * Locations impacted include. Inwood, Glengary, Cross Junction, Gerrardstown, Gainesboro, Cedar Hill, Cedar Grove, Clear Brook, Valley High, Albin, Whitacre, and Stephenson.
