At 1024 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Meddybemps, or 14 miles southwest of Calais, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Lubec, Eastport, Perry, Pembroke, Meddybemps, Robbinston, Alexander, Dennysville, Charlotte, Baring, Cooper, Crawford, Edmunds, and Marion. This includes US Highway 1 between Dennysville and Perry.

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Coastal Waters from Eastport, ME to Schoodic Point, ME out 25 NM. Coastal Waters from Schoodic Point, ME to Stonington, ME out 25 NM. Intra Coastal Waters from Schoodic Point, ME to Stonington, ME. At 954 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Bass Harbor Light, or 7 nm northwest of Great Duck Island Light, moving east at 40 knots. Locations impacted include. Baker Island Light, Southwest Harbor, Moose Peak Light, and Bass Harbor Light.
