Mississippi River at Red River Landing. * WHEN. Until Friday, June 14. * IMPACTS. At 51.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from Red River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps and river bottom farm land will be under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 49.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet. - Forecast. At 4.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 4.0 feet. - Forecast. The river will fall below flood stage this afternoon to 3.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then rise to flood stage early Tuesday afternoon. FFWLCH The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for. Southeastern St. Landry Parish in central Louisiana. Northwestern St. Martin Parish in south central Louisiana. * Until midnight CDT tonight. * At 850 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms produced heavy rain in Cecilia, Henderson and Breaux Bridge. Between 6 and 9 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD. Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE. Emergency management reported. IMPACT. Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Breaux Bridge, Arnaudville, Henderson, Cecilia, Atchafalaya Welcome Center and Parks.
