The next statement will be issued Tuesday afternoon at 100 PM CDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mermentau River near Mermentau. * WHEN. Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 4.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 3.8 feet. - Forecast. For the Lower Mississippi River. including Red River Landing. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Red River Landing. * WHEN. Until Wednesday, June 12. * IMPACTS. At 51.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from Red River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps and river bottom farm land will be under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 50.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday, June 12 and continue falling to 43.9 feet Tuesday, June 25. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
