The areas affected include. Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas. At 334 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated an outflow boundary, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This boundary of gusty winds was located along a line extending from 14 nm north of Mandeville to 11 nm west of Lake Maurepas, moving east at 25 knots. Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots and higher waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes.

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Louisiana. Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting Pointe Coupee, West Feliciana and East Baton Rouge Parishes. For the Lower Mississippi River. including Red River Landing, Baton Rouge, Donaldsonville, Reserve, New Orleans. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Red River Landing. * WHEN. Until Saturday, June 15. * IMPACTS. At 51.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from Red River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps and river bottom farm land will be under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 48.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 50.0 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday, June 15. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
