Iowa River at Marengo. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 18.0 feet, Water breaches the mill race dikes near Middle Amana. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.8 feet and slowly rising. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 16.8 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise to 18.2 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall early Monday morning. It will then rise again, making it to 18.5 feet Tuesday evening. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

From Thursday morning to early Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 13.0 feet, Many storm sewers are closed along Black Hawk Creek and the Cedar River. The Fletcher Ave levee gates are closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 13.6 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
