This could lead to flooding at these sites. * WHAT. Flooding is possible. * WHERE. Cedar River at Vinton. * WHEN. From Tuesday afternoon to early Friday morning. * IMPACTS. At 17.5 feet, Flood protection measures such as road closures and sandbagging begin. At 90.0 feet, Water affects the north half of Tourist Park. At 93.8 feet, Water affects Cedar City. the road at 216 E Lake St. and the north edge of the road at 2125 Lone Tree Rd. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 84.6 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 94.0 feet Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 89.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 93.9 feet on 05/31/2013.
