At 715 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Carmel, or 11 miles north of Indianapolis, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE. Trained weather spotters. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Lawrence, Brownsburg, Zionsville, Speedway, Westfield, Cicero, McCordsville, Pendleton, Fortville, Ingalls, Lapel, Arcadia, Meridian Hills, Clermont, Rocky Ripple, and Williams Creek. This includes the following highways. Interstate 65 between mile markers 117 and 130. Interstate 69 between mile markers 200 and 219. Interstate 74 between mile markers 67 and 73.

At 706 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near South Whitley to near Fairmount. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Marion, Huntington, Hartford City, Gas City, Upland, Fairmount, Jonesboro, Sweetser, Andrews, Markle, La Fontaine, Van Buren, Matthews, Roanoke, Warren, Lancaster, Lagro, Fowlerton, Shamrock Lakes, and Mount Etna. This includes Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 253 and 291.
