At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Speedway, or 8 miles west of Indianapolis, moving north at 35 mph. HAZARD. Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Indianapolis, Carmel, Brownsburg, Speedway, Avon, Meridian Hills, Clermont, Rocky Ripple, Williams Creek, Wynnedale, Spring Hill, Crows Nest, North Crows Nest, and Eagle Creek Reservoir. This includes the following highways. Interstate 65 between mile markers 114 and 128. Interstate 70 between mile markers 76 and 79. Interstate 74 between mile markers 66 and 73.

Howard County in central Indiana. Northeastern Boone County in central Indiana. Northwestern Hamilton County in central Indiana. Western Tipton County in central Indiana. * Until 630 PM EDT. * At 556 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of Kokomo, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include. Kokomo, Sheridan, Flora, Russiaville, Kirklin, Sharpsville, Burlington, Kempton, and Indian Heights.
