Through early afternoon, wind gusts 35 to 45 mph are expected with variable wind direction in portions of Northern Indiana These winds are not associated with a thunderstorm and will tend to occur after the rain ends. At 1153 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Matthews to 8 miles northeast of Noblesville. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Muncie, Anderson, Noblesville, New Castle, Elwood, Alexandria, Winchester, Yorktown, Cicero, Pendleton, Union City, Chesterfield, Albany, Lapel, Edgewood, Frankton, Eaton, Daleville, Parker City, and Farmland. This includes the following highways. Interstate 69 between mile markers 216 and 252. Interstate 70 between mile markers 118 and 133.
