Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City. Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid Lake. * Until 400 AM CDT. * At 158 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Ohare Airport to 10 nm southwest of Hammond Marina, moving northeast at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Harrison-Dever Crib, 31st Street Harbor, Monroe Harbor, Burns Harbor, Calumet Harbor, Indiana Harbor, Montrose Harbor, Burnham Harbor, Hammond Marina, Jackson Park Harbor, Belmont Harbor, and Marina Shores at Dune Harbor.

Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include. Floodwaters are near some homes along Riverside Dr, Shorewood Dr, and Highway W in the Village of Salem Lakes and Town of Wheatland areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 2:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.2 feet. - Forecast. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 203 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
