SMWJAX The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Waters from St. Augustine to Flagler Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM. * Until 915 PM EDT. * At 814 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 34 nm east of Daytona Beach Shores, or 36 nm east of South Daytona, moving northeast at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

At 813 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Chuluota, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Orlando, Titusville, Oviedo, Winter Springs, and Wedgefield.

This thunderstorm was located 32 nm east of Daytona Beach Shores, or 33 nm east of South Daytona, moving northeast at 25 knots.
