At 540 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near DeLeon Springs, moving south at 5 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Daytona Beach, DeLand, DeLeon Springs, DeLand Airport, and Glenwood.

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20 NM. Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20 NM. At 510 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 nm north of Amelia City to 17 nm west of Talbot Island, moving southeast at 10 knots. Other storms were near Jekyll Island moving southeast at 10 knots.
