A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Coastal Waters from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola out 20 NM. Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach out 20 NM. Waters from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM. Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach from 20 to 60 NM. At 728 AM CDT, showers were moving southeast around 30 knots and are currently located about 20 nm west of Empire Mica Wreck. Occasional 30 to 35 knot southerly gusts are occurring behind these showers as reported by the public along the coast and offshore.

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Florida. Choctawhatchee River near Bruce (SR 20) affecting Washington and Walton Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Choctawhatchee River near Bruce (SR 20). * WHEN. Until late tonight. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, Big Cedar, Cowford, and Choctawhatchee River Roads begin to flood in Walton County. Flood waters impact storage areas underneath homes on the west banks of the Choctawhatchee River. Low areas along Strickland Road in Washington County become subject to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 14.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 AM CDT Friday was 14.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this afternoon and continue falling to 11.7 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History.
