Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to Craig Key out 20 nm. * Until 1000 PM EDT. * At 927 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Key Largo Dry Rocks, moving southeast at 15 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail. SOURCE. National Weather Service Meteorologist. IMPACT. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. * Locations in the warning include. At 925 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Key Largo Dry Rocks, moving southeast at 10 knots. Locations that will be affected include. Key Largo Dry Rocks, Spiegel Grove, Grecian Rocks, and The Elbow Light.

* WHAT. Saltwater flooding. * WHERE. Upper Florida Keys. * WHEN. Through late Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS. Saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots is expected, with little relief outside of the hours of high tide. Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost certain to contain a mix of saltwater.
