HAZARD. Waterspouts. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. * Locations impacted include. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Delray Beach, Lighthouse Point, Boca Raton, Highland Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Hillsboro Beach, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, and Fort Lauderdale.

Other locations impacted by the strong thunderstorm include Gulf Stream.

Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Tamarac, Margate, Lighthouse Point, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderhill, Coconut Creek, Oakland Park, North Lauderdale, Parkland, Hillsboro Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Mission Bay, and Broadview-Pompano Park.

* WHAT. Saltwater flooding. * WHERE. Upper Florida Keys. * WHEN. Through late Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS. Saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots is expected, with little relief outside of the hours of high tide. Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost certain to contain a mix of saltwater.
