At 417 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud over East Toll Gate On Alligator Alley, or 11 miles west of Sunrise, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD. Funnel clouds and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Coral Springs, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, Tamarac, Margate, Miami Gardens, Lauderhill, Weston, North Lauderdale, Cooper City, Parkland, Royal Palm Ranches, Sunshine Acres, Miramar Parkway And University Drive, Pine Island Ridge, and Sawgrass Mills Mall.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, Miami-Dade. * WHEN. Until 500 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 303 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
