At 842 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located near Sunny Isles, moving north at 30 knots.

At 832 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles north of Wilderness Waterway, or 13 miles east of Chokoloskee, moving north at 35 mph. HAZARD. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
