The areas affected include. Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 NM. Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM. At 440 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 7 nm east of Hillsboro Beach, or 8 nm southeast of Highland Beach, moving northeast at 25 knots.

At 440 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles south of Miccosukee Service Plaza to 7 miles north of Wilderness Waterway. Movement was northeast around 15 mph. HAZARD. Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Big Cypress National Preserve and Dade-Collier Training Airport.

At 436 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located near Triumph Reef, moving northeast at 25 knots.

In southern Florida, Glades and Hendry. In southwest Florida, Coastal Collier County, Inland Collier County and Mainland Monroe. * WHEN. Through Friday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Rainfall amounts of 6 to 12 inches with isolated amounts up to 18 inches have fallen over South Florida since Tuesday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 4 to 8 inches are still forecast to fall over South Florida this evening evening with locally higher amounts over 10 inches possible. Additional amounts in the range of 2-4 inches could also be possible on Friday. Broward County in southeastern Florida. * Until 800 PM EDT. * At 453 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Hallandale, Dania Beach, Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD. Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE. Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT. Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include.
