The areas affected include. Biscayne Bay. At 413 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Turkey Point to 6 nm east of Triumph Reef, moving north at 20 knots.

The areas affected include. Biscayne Bay. Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM. Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas. At 327 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line extending from 37 nm east of Triumph Reef to 11 nm southeast of Carysfort Reef Light, moving northwest at 30 knots.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, Miami-Dade. * WHEN. Until 600 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 405 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Miami, Coral Gables, South Miami, West Miami, Coconut Grove, Marlins Park, University Of Miami, Coral Terrace, Downtown Miami, Glenvar Heights, Westchester, Olympia Heights and Coral Way Village. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
