At 134 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms capable of producing a funnel cloud along a line extending from Miami Gardens to Marlins Park. Movement was northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD. Funnel clouds and winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Miami, Hialeah, Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Davie, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, South Miami, Surfside, Hallandale, Miami Gardens, Virginia Key, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Dania Beach, Miami Lakes, and Sunny Isles Beach.

Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Plantation, Sunrise, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Tamarac, Margate, Lighthouse Point, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderhill, Coconut Creek, Oakland Park, North Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes, Parkland, Wilton Manors, Hillsboro Beach, and Sea Ranch Lakes.

The areas affected include. Biscayne Bay. Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM. Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas. At 121 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 nm north of Coral Gables to Triumph Reef, moving northeast at 20 knots.

Portions of southeast, southern, and southwest Florida, including the following areas, in southeast Florida, Coastal Broward County, Coastal Miami Dade County, Coastal Palm Beach County, Far South Miami-Dade County, Inland Broward County, Inland Miami-Dade County, Inland Palm Beach County, Metro Broward County, Metro Palm Beach County and Metropolitan Miami Dade. In southern Florida, Glades and Hendry. In southwest Florida, Coastal Collier County, Inland Collier County and Mainland Monroe. * WHEN. Through this evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Rainfall amounts of 8 to 14 inches with isolated amounts up to 20 inches have fallen over portions of South Florida since Tuesday morning. Additional amounts of 2 to 4 inches of rainfall are forecast through Friday with locally higher amounts possible. Until 400 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 138 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
