The areas affected include. Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 NM. At 234 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over North Palm Beach, or over Juno Beach, moving northeast at 5 knots.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Florida, including the following counties, Broward and Miami-Dade. * WHEN. Until 345 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 241 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Miami Gardens, North Miami Beach, Miami Lakes, West Park, Miramar Parkway And University Drive, Hard Rock Stadium, Ojus, Country Club, Pembroke Park and Ives Estates. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
