At 338 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud 11 miles northeast of Dade-Collier Training Airport, or 24 miles west of Miramar, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD. Funnel clouds, winds in excess of 40 mph, and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Collier, northern Miami-Dade and southern Broward Counties.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, Miami-Dade. * WHEN. Until 500 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 303 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Miami, Hialeah, Coral Gables, Miami Springs, West Miami, Marlins Park, Downtown Miami, Miami International Airport, Coral Terrace, Virginia Gardens and Allapattah. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
