The areas affected include. Biscayne Bay. Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM. Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas. At 1123 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Angelfish Key, moving east at 15 knots.

Portions of southeast, southern, and southwest Florida, including the following areas, in southeast Florida, Coastal Broward County, Coastal Miami Dade County, Coastal Palm Beach County, Far South Miami-Dade County, Inland Broward County, Inland Miami-Dade County, Inland Palm Beach County, Metro Broward County, Metro Palm Beach County and Metropolitan Miami Dade. In southern Florida, Glades and Hendry. In southwest Florida, Coastal Collier County, Inland Collier County and Mainland Monroe. * WHEN. Through Friday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Rainfall amounts of 6 to 12 inches with isolated amounts up to 18 inches have fallen over South Florida since Tuesday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 4 to 8 inches are still forecast to fall over South Florida this evening evening with locally higher amounts over 10 inches possible. Additional amounts in the range of 2-4 inches could also be possible on Friday. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At midnight EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
