At 702 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles south of Intersection Alligator Alley And Miami Canal, or 19 miles west of Pembroke Pines, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD. Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Weston, Mile Marker 30 On Alligator Alley, Intersection Alligator Alley And Miami Canal, East Toll Gate On Alligator Alley, Intersection I-75 And U.S. 27, Miccosukee Service Plaza, and West Broward Rec. Area On Alligator Alley.

Southern Broward County in southeastern Florida. * Until 800 PM EDT. * At 725 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles southwest of Intersection Alligator Alley And Miami Canal, or 24 miles west of Pembroke Pines, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Miami-Dade and southern Broward Counties.
