Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 851 PM MDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to earlier heavy rainfall. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include. Southwestern Aurora, southern Centennial, northeastern Castle Rock, Parker, The Pinery and Foxfield.

Flooding of low-lying and flood-prone locations along Cherry Creek is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1146 PM MDT, Stream gauges indicate that flooding is occurring. Cherry Creek in Parker is near the moderate flood stage of 10 feet. Low lying and flood prone areas are covered at this level, and water may be getting into yards along the creek. Downstream, the water is rising near E470 and the surge has not yet entered Arapahoe county. Locations downstream of Parker can expect a rise of 2 to 3 feet in the water level over the next hour or two. Level should begin to subside in areas upstream from Parker. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Southwestern Aurora, southern Centennial, northeastern Castle Rock, Parker, The Pinery and Foxfield.

At 7.6 feet, Water begins to impact low lying areas along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 6:25 PM MDT Sunday the stage was 7.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast. The river will oscillate below flood stage with a maximum value of 7.9 feet through Thursday. - Action stage is 7.6 feet. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
